That’s So Creative films Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle to promote Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program

The team at That’s So Creative, LLC, was thrilled to meet and work with various supporters of the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program, including Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, on Saturday, April 3, at Alejandra’s Mexican Cuisine in Northlake.

TSC was on location working to produce a video to promote the program — a collaborative effort of the County, and various nonprofit and philanthropic partners to help small businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic.

The morning was full of creativity, collaboration and a true community feel.

As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by Alejandra’s staff and staff from the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce — a partner organization of the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program that worked directly with Alejandra’s to provide the restaurant with support during the pandemic.

We had the opportunity to interview IHCC President & CEO Jaime di Paulo, as well as Luis Corona, owner, and operator of Alejandra’s. President Preckwinkle met with both gentlemen, as well as Northlake Mayor Jeffrey Sherwin, to discuss pandemic recovery. She also filmed a statement for our video.

TSC is grateful to everyone involved in the filming for their enthusiasm for the project. It was evident how passionate everyone was about ensuring their community and the businesses that call it home are supported to thrive through and beyond the setbacks of the pandemic

We look forward to sharing the finished video in the near future.

As part of ongoing outreach efforts, the Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program is offering a financial webinar from 9-10:30 a.m. April 14, 2021, to provide small business owners with finance tools as well as insight into the funds available through the American Rescue Plan.
